A 13-year-old girl who went missing after telling her family she was going to stay with a friend has been found safe and well, police said.
Georgia Ferguson, 13, left her home in Blyth, near Newcastle upon Tyne, at around 5.30pm on Friday.
Northumbria Police said she told her family she was staying with a friend and could have travelled to the Newcastle area.
The force wrote on Twitter: "Missing girl Georgia Ferguson has been found safe and well and is now home.
"Thank you to everyone for sharing and for your help to find her."
