We all know what the Moon looks like - what we're not so used to seeing is the same view, from the other side.
This NASA clip reveals what our largest natural satellite would look like if you were able to turn back on your way to a distant world.
In short, you would see a familiar shifting face, and the Earth, at the same time.
NASA said:
"A number of people who've seen NASA's annual lunar phase and libration videos have asked what the other side of the Moon looks like, the side that can't be seen from the Earth. This video answers that question. The imagery was created using Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter data."
