A mother has appealed for her unwell teenage son to come home after he ran away following a hospital visit.
Daniel Pena-Sanchez, 13, of Catford, south east London - who has a heart problem, hid in a bin then walked off.
Daniel's mum, Claudia Sanchez, said: "I am really worried about Daniel and his welfare. He is not very well at present and he won't be able to cope with the wet and cold weather for very long. He is very weak at present and needs help.
"If you see him, or you think you have seen a boy who looks like Daniel, please get in touch with police as soon as you can.
"Daniel is a clever, bright boy. He loves reading, he loves science and he often says he wants to be a doctor one day. We are a very close-knit family and he often buys me flowers and writes poems for me.
"Daniel, if you are reading this, please, please come home. We are all missing you."
