The fashion at the MTV EMAs is never boring. This year's event, hosted by Nicki Minaj in Glasgow, was no different.
Minaj racked up an impressive 10 wardrobe changes throughout the night. As she arrived on stage suspended from the ceiling in a sequin bustier and the longest ruffled skirt we've ever seen (by designer Peter Hidalgo), it was clear this wasn't going to be your average awards show.
Thankfully, Minaj got through the evening without any wardrobe malfunctions.
Other style highlights from the 31-year-old star included a sheer lace jumpsuit plus a strapless little dress dress and a monochrome cape by Gareth Pugh - but it was rapper Redfoo and David Hasselhoff who turned heads on the red carpet (they both arrived wearing kilts.)
Singer Charli XCX paired her two-piece suit with a pair of fluffy platforms and Ariana Grande collected her award for Best Female in a lilac leotard.
As for the best dressed? Heavily pregnant Alicia Keys performed on stage in a sparkling Ralph Lauren gown while supermodel Jourdan Dunn dazzled in a plunging white mini dress.
