A couple are expecting twins conceived two months BEFORE their big sister was due to be born.
Lucy Horan should have arrived in March but was born 15 weeks premature weighing just 1lb 9oz.
It means parents Beth and Denis will have three children under one when the twins are born in November.
Denis, 37, told the local paper: "If they come early like Lucy did, they could well be in the same school year, which is very strange.
"It's a little bit daunting, but we're ready. We both love children and it's a blessing,"
Beth, 30, added: "It was a bit of a shock at first but we are looking forward to it now, it is very exciting."
Lucy survived serious infections to go home to Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria, this month after more than three months in hospital.
Her dad said: "She's done really well. She's not behind in her development now."
