A mum recorded the heartbreaking moment her little boy said goodbye to his dead goldfish by flushing it down the toilet.
In the video, which has been viewed more tan 3.6 million times on YouTube, the toddler kisses his pet twice and then takes it over to the toilet.
Then, prompted by his mum, the boy puts the fish in the toilet bowl and flushes the chain.
He calmly watches the fish swirl away before looking up at his mum and promptly bursting into tears.
The boy's mum quickly bends down and gives her little lad a huge hug as she sobs on her shoulder.

Some social media users have questioned whether the boy should have been allowed to 'bury' his fish in the first place.
One wrote: "He should have never been allowed to throw it in the toilet."
Another added: "That boy needed a hug, not to be recorded. Parents today."
And this user asked: "You ask him 'what's wrong?' Yet you already know, which makes him even more sad and then when he's crying you just stand there and film him a bit longer. Poor boy! Why would you film this!"
But another leapt to the mum's defence, writing: "Let's not try and demonize the mum here. Clearly at the beginning the son is not upset, and it doesn't seem like he'll become upset, so she probably thought it was fine to film the scene as a rather adorable memory.
"As soon as the boy become emotional she comforts him and stops recording. Maybe everyone should just get off their high horse."
