A mum was kicked out of a family restaurant after she changed her baby's nappy at the dining table.
Miranda Sowers was eating at Brother's Pizza Express in Texas with her four-month-old baby Reagan, daughters Lauren, four, and Katelyn, eight.
When Reagan filled her nappy – as babies are wont to do – Miranda took her to the bathroom for a freshen up.
But she said there was no changing table and so rather than leave her daughter uncomfortable and smelly, Miranda decided to take off her nappy and replace it at their table instead.
She told KHOU: "I thought you know what I've got my own changing pad, she's tiny, she fits right here on the chair.
"So I laid her down quickly and quietly changed her diaper."
But staff at the restaurant said customers complained about the smell.
Manager Donny Lala said: "As soon as you start opening the diaper, people start complaining about the smell of the diaper. Last thing I want is a customer throwing up."
According to an employee who saw the nappy change, it wasn't quick or quiet.
And restaurant owner Bessa Lala said she couldn't believe what she was seeing.
She asked: "How would you feel? You're sitting there eating. I don't want to lose all these other customers because they see a dirty diaper."
After words were exchanged, the family's food was brought out in takeaway containers and they were asked to leave.
Miranda has now filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau about the restaurant's treatment.
