A match in Senegal was halted by a Muslim referee as he broke his Ramadan fast.
Half-an-hour into Casa Sport and Yeggo's fixture, referee Ousseynou Gueye temporarily interrupted proceedings in order to enjoy a snack and drink, much to the crowd's chagrin.
Despite spectators' protestations at the sudden stoppage, Gueye refused to bring his indulgence to an abrupt end.
According to 101 Great Goals, he told reporters after the match: "Legally, it is not possible to stop a match to break the fast. But you can enjoy a break in the game to meet a health need. The human body needs water."
