My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding's Paddy Doherty Leads Tributes To Co-Stars Billy And Joe Smith

The bodies of the twin brothers were discovered in a country lane in Kent on Saturday.

Tributes have been paid to My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding twins Billy and Joe Smith, following their deaths at the age of 32. 

The bodies of the brothers were discovered in a country lane near Sevenoaks in Kent on Saturday, with police later confirming their deaths were not being treated as suspicious.

Billy and Joe were known for appearing on Channel 4′s docu-series about the travelling community in 2014.

Co-star Paddy Doherty posted a video tribute after learning of their deaths, describing it as a “terrible tragedy”.

“Two good looking boys, God bless their souls,” the Celebrity Big Brother winner said.

“Pray for the boys’ family, the boys’ mother and father, help them be strong and get through this.

“May God look after them... They are two angels... They’re in the kingdom of heaven walking on gold.”

A Facebook page has also been set up in their memory, with hundreds of people posting personal tributes to the pair.

Billy’s partner Kristina Delaney wrote: “Hardest day of my life. RIP my perfect Bill you were so pure so lovely.

“I can’t believe I have to type this together struggling to speak never mind put a sentence together, I’m gonna make you so so proud my bill, my life, my angel.”

Phoebe Charleen Smith, the twins’ cousin, also told the PA news agency: “They were perfect, we had been brought up all our lives together … more like brothers and sister.

“They are loved dearly and missed so much.”

Kent Police said they were called at 11.34am on Saturday after the bodies of two men in their 30s were found in Dibden Lane, Sevenoaks.

Officers are now compiling a report for the coroner.
