BrandAlley - your online go-to for incredible discounts in the designer fashion, beauty and home department - has one seriously stylish team. This week we hung out with them in the sunshine and got some notes on how they do work style...

Marketing manager, Caroline Sharland, teams a dress from Mango with a beautiful neutral trench coat by Comptoir des Cotonniers and lace-up ankle boots from Zara. Think classic, smart, sophisticated.

On the accessories front, Caroline wears a Gucci watch, earrings from Selfridges, and the Mulberry Bayswater handbag.

Her work staples? "Dark fitted jeans, a tailored jacket and a good pair of boots. I think Zara and Reiss are brilliant for smart basics but also for following the latest trends."

And when it comes to her can't-live without beauty essential, she says: "I'd have to say, Laura Mercier's tinted moisturiser."

Shelly Harris is BrandAlley's buying manager and is seriously well practised at piecing together a fabulous work ensemble.

She wears a grey print sweatshirt by Michael Van der Ham, a leather skirt from Topshop and brogue heels from Russell & Bromley. The piece de resistance? The black cross-body bag a la Philip Lim.

The round-lens shades are by Thierry Lasry which she bought on BrandAlley, along with the vintage Rolex. The dainty pendant necklace is by her designer friend Jill Urwin, the lipstick is by Bellapierre Cosmetics (also available at BrandAlley) and the nail polish, Essie.

And when it comes to style icons, there's one star she's a particular fan of: "Kate Bosworth, she never gets its wrong – clean and chic!"

Jo McDowall, social media assistant, wears a white peplum top from Topshop, Cynthia Rowley cardigan, a stripe jacket by Vivienne Westwood, ripped jeans from AllSaints and black suede wedges also from Topshop.

The arm candy is Philip Lim, the tan belt is Michael Kors and shades are from Toms.

Style inspiration comes from? "My mum - I love the way she dresses, but I also steal clothes from my dad and boyfriend. I always like to wear layers, I'd say my style is granny-chic."

Junior stylist, Ria Johnson is a lady who loves her high-street shopping. Her t-shirt from H&M is teamed with River Island leather-look jeans, a black bomber and metallic heels both from Topshop.

This white coat a la French Connection is her latest prized purchase (spot on for Spring/Summer) and her blingy earrings and silver rings are from New Look.

Ria's favourite trends? "All white, monochrome and SEQUINS!"

Secret beauty essential? "Soap & Glory's liquid eyeliner, and Baptiste's dry shampoo. I can get away with washing my hair just once a week, the secret is using dry shampoo from day one."

Steve Williams is BrandAlley's creative manager and he's all about looking casual and smart in the office. His jacket is by Richard James, the shirt is from Arrow, Zara jeans and Muji belt.

The high tops are from Geox and let's not forget the matter of a good sock - Steve's are Pringle. His watch is by Omega. "I like to wear a crisp shirt most days as well as a smart pair of trainers, but I also like a good brogue."

Where does Steve shop his work wardrobe? "Definitely TK Maxx for a bargain, then Reiss or Zara for something smart."
