Ever wondered where to go to find an all-fabulous designer dress to rent? Girl Meets Dress is the ultimate online destination for hiring dreamy gowns and gorgeous dresses for any occasion, at a fraction of the retail price.
We tottered across to the brand's HQ to meet the team, look through the rails and see exactly how they do work wear.
Anna Bance, founder of Girl Meets Dress, wears a stunning sleeved lace cocktail dress by Carmen Marc Valvo, snakeskin stilettos from LK Bennett and a classic black multi-way bag from Zara.
The beautiful blue bangle is by Hermes and Anna wears drop earrings from Astley Clarke. When it comes to dressing for the office Anna says:
"I like to look pretty casual so a good pair of flats always work with a staple skirt or dress - always with tights in the winter.
"Then in summer you can't go wrong with a few bright pieces and a pair of wedges."
Trends Anna's loving this season? "Matching prints are perfect for work, I'm also always in Nike trainers."
Press assistant, Bryony Wilson, wears a flecked neon dress by MSGN (courtesy of Girl Meets Dress) with white vintage stiletto sandals that she bagged for a bargain on eBay.
The oversized shopper is from French Connection and the fashion rings are from New Look.
Not only is this lady all about a full fringe but she can't live without a bright lipstick - this is Barry M's 147 shade.
"Day wear for me is a lot of black and grey, then when I go out in the evening I choose something bright and dressy, something that really reflects my personality."
Eleni Kanari, style advisor, puts a paisley print shirt and dark denim jean co-ordination to work - both from Jack Wills - proving that a crisp shirt is the ultimate work must-have.
The tan belt and matching suede ankle boots are from Zara. When it comes to what's important about work style Eleni says: "Feeling comfortable is everything, and I always try not to go over the top with accessories."
What do women ask most when hiring from Girl Meets Dress?
"Everyone wants to know if they can try on the dresses before renting them, which of course they can. They just need to make an appointment to come in and see us."
Style advisor Mira Abdo also works in the customer services team and wears a draped Diane Von Furstenburg dress tucked into a pair of jeans (GENIUS) from Zara, black knee-high boots from Kurt Geiger and a vintage Armani jacket.
Simple, stylish and completely classic. The Mulberry handbag is the perfect finishing touch.
Mira's beauty essential? Lancome mascara and Mac lipstick. Favourite fashion trend right now? "Definitely the sports-luxe look!"
Best pointers for clients hiring dresses? "We see about five to six ladies a week, most of whom rent a dress for a week. I'll always advise that they never opt for something too long and always think about a style that will avoid boobs being on show."
Xavier De Lecaros-Aquise, co-founder of Girl Meets Dress, wears a Massimo Dutti suit jacket, a white shirt (a gent's key piece) from Hawes & Curtis, a green Ralph Lauren jumper and chords from Zara.
His kicks are also from Zara, and the watch is by Brietling (love those colour ways). In short, Xavier masters the art of smart-casual threads for the office.
Favourite place to pick up a few new wardrobe purchases? Belstaff.
