We tottered along to Kat Maconie's studio to meet the team, the designer herself AND swoon at some seriously stylish shoes. Life is all about a statement block heel...
Since starting out in 2009 the brand has grown quickly and collections are now stocked in 100 stores globally (Harvey Nichols, Selfridges, Anthropologie and Shopbob.com to name a few!). Excitingly, there's also talk of accessories and handbag lines to come.
The signature looks? Buckle strap wedges, structured block heels and can't-live-without-them ankle boots - and the team know just how to style them out...
Kat Maconie wears a red leopard print shirt by Sandro, a black leather jacket from Asos and a black vintage pleated skirt from Beyond Retro.
Kat's fabulous black and gold Valerie heels are her own brand and the oversized earrings are from Topshop. The black and gold vintage ring is by Richard Ogden.
Design and Product Developer Amy Cox wears turquoise sequin pencil skirt and burgundy jumper with sheer detailing, both from H&M.

Stella Kattermann, Social Media Manager at Kat Maconie, wears a monochrome ensemble: white shirt from Monkey underneath a black embellished dress from Zara, and Kat Maconie ankle boots from the A/W 2013 collection.
The spectacular floral headdress is from Topshop (originally white but she used black fabric dye to make it more Winter appropriate!) As for the beautiful, and very well worn, white quilted Chanel handbag - it was bought when she was 16-years-old from a vintage boutique in Germany.

Amy Downing is the Wholesale Account Manager and her look is made up from a blue print dress from Topshop and marinho blue Camilla ankle boots by Kat Maconie.
The lady knows how to accessorise too - her gold watch is Marc by Marc Jacobs, gold-plated glass ring by Saint Laurent, dainty bird necklace by Alex Monroe and St George's pendant from Cabinet. The secret to those killer eyelashes? Bourjois's Volume Clubbing mascara.
Emily Pickering is currently doing work experience and wears a black slouchy jumper from Cos and leather shorts with matching black leather jacket from Zara.
