A married headmaster and one of David Cameron's so-called 'Cuties' were found in bed together by the teacher's wife, it's claimed.
Richard Tattersfield, 45, has been suspended following allegations that he was found in his boxer shorts with 'Cameron Cutie' and school governor Keely Huxtable, 33, who was said to be naked.
Mrs Huxtable's husband Timothy told the Birmingham Mail that his wife, who stood for the Tories in 2010, sent naked snaps of herself to her lover – that were found by the headmaster's wife on his iPad.
Mr Tattersfield was suspended by council bosses from Dame Elizabeth Cadbury Technology College in Birmingham and Mrs Huxtable resigned as chairwoman of the school's governors the next day.
Father-of-two Mr Tattersfield and Mrs Huxtable have now both split from their partners and are living together at Mrs Huxtable's home in Stirchley, Birmingham.
A Birmingham City Council spokesman said an investigation is underway and confirmed the pair's suspension and resignation.
The spokesman said: "On the basis of the seriousness of the allegations made, the head teacher was suspended in December, pending an investigation which is currently under way. The chair of governors also resigned in December."
However, in an interview with the Telegraph, Mrs Huxtable, who was the youngest woman to be selected by the Conservative Party to stand in the 2010 General Election for Northfield, claimed the bedroom romp allegations were 'a load of rubbish'.
She claimed she and the headteacher were both fully dressed and working on 'strategic leadership planning' when they were confronted by Mrs Tattersfield.
Mrs Huxtable said: "The school had been found to be weak around humanities and maths and we had to re-write the school's management plan, that's what we were doing."
Her estranged husband, Timothy, said that when he and his wife split on November 1, she told him that she no longer wanted to be married to him and that 'there was no one else involved'.
He said: "I sort of believed her at the time. I then started having suspicions because I found out she had stayed overnight in November a couple of weeks after we split with him at his new property in Cotteridge.
"She claimed she had slept on the sofa. Then his wife phoned me saying she had caught them in bed together on December 12."
Mrs Huxtable said the couple had planned to inform the school's board of governors about their relationship at the next board meeting, due to take place on Monday.
She claimed they were victims of a 'witch-hunt' by the council's education department.
She said: "I can tell you that Richard and I are together, but it has no bearing on our professional lives."
