The British nanny at the centre of an international storm over whether she deliberately killed a baby in her care, is expecting her first child, multiple tabloids have reported.
Louise Woodward was 19 when she was found guilty in 1997 of the murder of eight-month-old Matthew Eappen, as she nannied for a Boston couple.
Woodward was subsequently acquitted of murder and her conviction reduced to involuntary manslaughter, and released after less than a year in prison.

Now happily married, Woodward attended university in Northumbria, studying law and winning a training contract, but dropped out of her training to become a fulltime dance teacher. The couple live in a the Shropshire village of Bridgnorth.
The Daily Mail reported that Woodward is seven months pregnant, and allege she has been "desperate" for a baby for some time.

The couple told the paper that they wish to "maintain her privacy".
Baby Matthew Eappen died from a fractured skull and a blood clot on the brain, which prosecutors said was due to "shaken baby syndrome" which can occur when a child is dropped.
The defence said the child had sustained his injuries weeks earlier.
The case radically split opinion across the Atlantic, with the American press later dubbing her the "most notorious criminal in Massachusetts history".
