There was once a time when double denim was a serious no-no in the style stakes, but now Naomi Campbell’s endorsed it, can we all just agree that DD is now permissible?
The supermodel rocked up to the Formula E Hong Kong E-Prix (whatever that is – fast cars by all accounts) at the weekend in an ensemble that, well, let’s just take a moment to marvel at it...

Is it a coincidence that Naomi is wearing something straight out of Gemma Collins’ wardrobe just days after the two got acquainted on the Jonathan Ross Show? The GC is no stranger to a statement shoulder after all.
Naomi accessorised her outfit with obligatory massive showbiz shades and *possibly* a former member of One Direction.
As we know, it’s been rumoured that Naomi and Liam Payne have been getting to know each other rather well for the last few weeks, but both stars are remaining decidedly tight-lipped about whether they are actually involved in a “mind-blowing” (copyright The Sun) romance.
When Jonathan Ross quizzed Naomi about it on his chat show on Saturday night, he was met with a death stare, a wry smile and a “you know I don’t discuss my private life” response.
But it looks like Naomi and Liam are trolling us all, judging by these snaps of them both at the racing event in Hong Kong on Sunday.
Crucially, despite being at the same event, with the same VIP access, they were never photographed together. Not even once. And there would have been a lot of paps after the money shot.
Instead, the rumoured couple rocked up in matching denim outfits, the likes of which have not been seen since Britney and Justin tried (and failed) to make double denim a thing.
It really was the stuff of nightmares…
And if that wasn’t enough, Naomi and Liam then went about the business of posing for the same photos, but, you know, completely separately…
Quite how long this game of cat and mouse with the paps – and the rest of us – will go on for is anyone’s guess, but we know who’s having the last laugh.
