One of Scott Kelly's latest tweets is a causing a stir among alien hunters after they caught sight of something "strange" in the image he posted.
Their keen eyes spotted an "unidentified flying object" hovering next to the Space Station.
UFO fans, including YouTube user sonofmabarker, explained: "In the upper right of the photo you can clearly see a large object with two lights on each end. It also appears to be very large and constructed."
Scott Waring, editor of ufosightingsdaily.com also waded into the conversation:
"When an astronaut tweets a photo of a UFO, you can bet people notice it. Scott Kelly likes to send out photos of the view from the windows of the space station...and they look cool.

"This one however has a cigar shaped glowing UFO with a metallic body in it," he added.
"The UFO is about 25 meters long and 150-200 meters away. It looks like Scott was trying to hint at the existence of aliens. Message received Scott, and thanks."
Despite his fervent belief that Kelly had captured a UFO, others have been more sceptical stating that the object could be the result of an overexposed picture.
Others have said the bright light in the corner of the image is part of the International Space Station's (ISS) equipment.
This is not the first time UFO fans have jumped the gun.
Ufoofinterest.org made comparison between Kelly's latest tweet and previous images of the ISS, showing how the bright light is most likely part of the space station.
