It’s been a fair few years since we’ve seen or heard anything from noughties popstar Natasha Bedingfield.
While her brother Daniel attempted to launch a comeback in 2012 by going full-frontal and writhing about in blood in a bizarre video, things have been much quieter for the ‘Unwritten’ hitmaker.
However, Natasha has now emerged from the showbiz shadows, and it’s fair to say it took us a moment or two to realise it was her.

The 33-year-old is sporting a rather striking new look these days - one very different from the one fans will remember during her chart heyday.

Natasha has swapped her long blonde locks for an edgy pink cut, complete with a very short fringe.
She’s also bleached her dark eyebrows, making them look invisible on her face.
The singer-songwriter was last seen in the UK charts in 2007, when she reached number 20 with Sean Kingston collaboration ‘Love Like This’.
She’d previously had five top ten hits with songs such as ‘These Words’ and ‘I Wanna Have Your Babies’.
Since then, Natasha has appeared as a guest judge on the New Zealand version of ‘The X Factor’, alongside her brother in 2013, and last year she recorded track ‘Who I Am’ for the soundtrack to Disney animated film, ‘The Pirate Fairy’.
In January, she recorded a charity single with Philosophy Skin Care entitled ‘Hope’, which aimed to draw attention to mental health issues concerning women.
She later insisted that it would be the start of many more music releases, but as of yet, we’re still waiting to hear new material.
