Every mum deserves gorgeous flowers on Mother's Day, but if you're looking for something really special and a bit more interesting than the usual Interflora or M&S options, check out The National Gallery. Random, I know, but the iconic art gallery has partnered with top designer florists, Wild At Heart to create a range of luxury flower bouquets perfect to give your mum this Sunday.
Combining her passion for flowers and art, Nikki Tibbles, creative director and founder of Wild At Heart, which is known for its creativity and has expanded from its original base in London's Westbourne Grove, to include concessions in both Harrods and Liberty, undertook painstaking research for the project.
By recreating the colours, textures and/or prints as well as the overall feel of some of The National Gallery's much-loved masterpieces, the Wild At Heart For The National Gallery collection really does bring something totally unique to the often samey world of online flower delivery. Available exclusively from The National Gallery website - www.nationalgallery.co.uk - each bouquet is beautifully presented in specially designed packaging and includes a gift card featuring the painting which inspired the arrangement.
Although this is an ongoing collaboration and not just for Mother's Day, these extra touches make the stunning choices from the Wild At Heart For The National Gallery collection something any mum would love (hayfever sufferers aside, although they also have silk flower arrangements available!). Flowers can be delivered nationwide throughout the UK within 24 hours if ordered before 2pm. It's worth noting that, as with all fresh flower services, the flowers used are subject to availability and seasonal variations apply so bouquets may differ slightly from the images on the website - please do check the terms and conditions on the site before ordering if you're worried.
