NUT Strike 2016: We Ask Teachers What Is The One Thing They Would Tell Nicky Morgan

'They've made me feel attacked.'

"Nicky Morgan's policies have made me feel attacked," Annabelle Jameel, a maths teacher in London, told us as she joined the National Union of Teachers who are striking over budget cuts.

The 24-year-old marched through central London with thousands chanting "no ifs, no buts, no education cuts."

As they gathered near BBC Broadcasting House several directed their anger towards Nicky Morgan, Secretary of State for Education, over policies, they say, have resulted in classrooms losing teaching assistants and other support staff.

Hannah Notowitz, 29, teaches English and she called on Morgan to visit the classroom and see how the lack of funding impacted students.

"Come to our school or come to any school in the country that's being affected by these budget cuts" Notowitz said.

"...Sit with those children who should have teaching assistants sitting next to them".

Here's what some of the other teachers, who joined the #NUTstrike today, had to say to Morgan.
