For her Spring/Summer 2015 catwalk show at New York Fashion Week, veteran designer Donna Karan (who is celebrating her 30th anniversary this year) didn't have to look far for inspiration: the street art world of NYC provided the basis for the painterly scribbles on dresses and graffiti-adorned silhouettes on her catwalk.
Karan's emphasis wasn't just on colour and print (although there was plenty to admire). The designer focused on new silhouettes, like the wrap-detail bra top teamed with full skirts and high-waist trousers and comfy-yet-elegant looking belted shirtdresses which looked like they would instantly become the most versatile pieces in your wardrobe.
Karlie Kloss turned heads in a towering straw hat (created by Stephen Jones), while Kendall Jenner (who's had a busy week so far) wore an orange scoop-neck top and gorgeously printed skirt for her catwalk turn. Models all wore long braids down their backs.
In the front row, Camila Alves looked stunning in a black long-sleeved dress with sexy sheer cut-out details.
