As anyone who has travelled on London's underground during the summer knows too well, it's hot down there.
However, Tube users can take comfort in this news - it's 95 degrees Fahrenheit on the subway in New York - that's 35 degrees Celsius and positively sauna-like.
In fact a few passengers have given up on using the trains and have turned a subway station into a spa instead.
Metro reports that this unlikely but brilliant idea comes from Improv Everywhere, a New York-based group of pranksters who have set up shop on one of the platforms this week to offer complimentary services to passers by.
These included steam room facilities (thanks to a very dedicated team of 'staff' spritzing water) hot stone massages and our personal favourite, relaxing sauna benches complete with towels and flip-flops.
