Nicole Richie arrived at the Accessories Council's ACE Awards ceremony in New York on Monday night to accept the title of Style Influencer of the Year.

We imagine that when you're collecting an award for being a trendsetter there's even more pressure than usual to look stunning so it's a good job Nicole knows what she's doing!
She arrived at the event wearing a bold-shouldered black dress with plunging neckline and thigh split. Given it's an Accessories Council bash we were keen to see how she dressed up the look - as this picture shows, she went minimal. A black clutch, simple earrings, a ring and her wedding band.
