Cool, calm and collected Nigella Lawson has proven she is the queen of comebacks as she hit back at ex-husband Charles Sachati's new girlfriend Trinny Woodall.
Trinny – who is dating Nigella's ex-husband Charles - appeared to mock Nigella by referencing the infamous throat-grabbing incident last year, where Charles, who has a daughter, Phoebe, was photographed with his hands around Nigella's throat.
Charles originally shrugged off the incident as a 'playful tiff', but later accepted a police caution for assault. The couple then went on to divorce, before Charles started dating What Not To Wear presenter Trinny, who is mum to young daughter Lyla.
Sharing her thoughts on turning 50 on the High50 website, Trinny wrote: "It's great that, at 50, life can still grab you by the throat and shake you up. And it's even better when you've learned to cope with whatever is thrown at you. So long as it isn't a bedside lamp."
In possibly the Best Tweet Ever, Nigella, 54, who is mum to Cosima and Bruno, responded with a link to her recipe for 'Slut's Spaghetti' with the comment, 'Do I need to say anything more?'
