A nine-year-old busker is hitting the right note with Glasgow shoppers and earning himself a whopping £560 a day belting out tunes by his favourite rockers.
Mini-musician Kris McDowall has been getting the streets of the city rocking to his renditions of popular Guns N' Roses, Justin Bieber, Eric Clapton and Tom Petty tracks.
The tiny-tune-maker - who has twice auditioned for Britain's Got Talent - is now planning on releasing his debut single.
His proud dad Kris Snr, 31, said it was 'unbelievable' how popular the youngster has become in his home town.
Speaking to The Sun, dad-of-four Kris - who is in a band himself - said that when little Kris plays 'the crowds that appear are just unbelievable.'
"He's been performing for the last two weeks since he got his summer holidays and now he's got hundreds of fans. Every day we come to Glasgow the crowd seems to get bigger. He's made thousands of pounds already," he said, "His single Rockstar is being recorded at the moment and it's going to be on sale in HMV by the end of the week."
Kris Jnr has been playing the guitar since he was four, having been taught by his dad, and now teaches himself new chords via videos on YouTube. His dad says he could sing 'before he could even walk' and started playing a toy guitar when he was two.
"By the time he was five he was performing in front of 900 people at an open-mic session in the Royal Concert Hall," his dad said, adding that when he got too good for him to teach him, he turned to YouTube for lessons!
The talented youngster has managed to treat himself to a full-size £1,600 Gibson Les Paul guitar with the money he's earned from busking.
His dad said the little boy used to be worried about what his friends would think of his love for music, but says that now 'a lot of his friends are taking guitar lessons because of him - he's their idol.'
Kris Jnr added that he 'loves' playing in front of people: "It's really exciting. I love playing on the street. It's my favourite thing to do during my holidays. My dad's been great, he really helps me with my music."
