Nintendo's quirky new Wii U console might have been received warmly by reviewers, but it might not have made the impact on the charts that Nintendo was hoping.
No Wii U title was able to crack the top 10 in its first weekend on sales, according to GfK Chart-Track.
The pack-in game Nintendo Land made it to number 11 in the charts, followed by New Super Mario Bros. U and Ubisoft's action-survival game ZombiU at 17.
It is not clear if the figures represent a disappointment, however: the Wii U was in short supply over the weekend and many who pre-ordered systems have not yet received them.
Its games were also only released on Friday, relatively late in the week.
The year's fastest selling game, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, remained at the top of the charts this week, while action-shooter Far Cry 3 entered at number 2.
EA's FIFA 13 remained at the third spot, followed by Hitman Absolution, Assassin's Creed 3 and Just Dance 4.
Rounding out the top ten were Lego Lord of the Rings (7), Halo 4 (8), Skylanders Giants (9) and Need For Speed: Most Wanted.
