Rocker Noel Gallagher would bow to pressure and take a judging role on The X Factor if he was offered a £1m salary.
The former Oasis star was asked to take Simon Cowell's place on the judging panel last year after the music mogul left the show to concentrate on launching the American version Stateside.
Gallagher insisted he had no interest in sitting on the panel of a TV talent show, and Take That frontman Gary Barlow eventually took Cowell's seat.
However, the musician has now named his price, admitting he would struggle to turn down £1m for six months work.
He tells the Radio Times: "It's about six months' work, innit? I reckon it would have to be a million pounds after tax.
"I say that tongue-in-cheek. I don't really want to do it. But a million pounds for six months' work? That's good money if you can get it. Even I don't earn that much."
