North Korea Makes Kim Jong-Un's Haircut Mandatory, But What If It Happened With Our Own 'Dear Leader'? (PICTURES)

This Haircut Is Now Compulsory In North Korea, But What If It Happened Here?

It is now mandatory for men in North Korea to get the same haircut as dictator Kim Jong-un.

The secretive state's impoverished citizens are sure to be flocking to the barbers Wednesday, as the state-sanctioned guidelines were reportedly rolled out nationwide.

North Korea clearly has its priorities right, dismissing accusations of crimes against humanity to instead focus on the introduction of the compulsory boxy, mushroom-esque hair do.

Previously, among Pyongyang's many state-inflicted horrors, citizens were only allowed to choose from 18 styles for women and 10 for men.

North Korea's state TV launched a campaign against long hair, called "Let us trim our hair in accordance with the Socialist lifestyle" – see instructional dystopian nightmare video below.

Unsurprisingly, many have reservations about being indignantly forced into having a government controlled bouffant hairstyle.

"Our leader's haircut is very particular, if you will," one source told Radio Free Asia.

"It doesn't always go with everyone since everyone has different face and head shapes."

But what if the same thing were to happen in Britain with regards to our own 'Dear Leader'?
