Nadya Suleman - known as 'Octomum' after she gave birth to octuplets - is battling to keep a roof over her children's heads this Christmas.
Nadya and her 14-strong brood have been threatened with eviction from their home in Orange County, southern California.
To add to her woes, the controversial mum has also been accused of child neglect and benefit scams
The Mirror reports that Nadya has been 'hiding away' in the rundown property with her 10 sons and four daughters.
The children - including the octuplets she gave birth to in January 2009 - have been spotted playing 'forlornly' at the house.
The paper says that at 'first glance' the five bedroom, three bathroom home looks 'reasonable' but concluded that it is 'badly neglected' with the octuplets 'crammed into bunk beds in a room where the wind whistles in through a dangerously smashed window'.
Lana El-jor, the landlady of the property, says she wants the family out because of Nadya's poor reputation as a tenant, claiming she has had problems refinancing the building because of the mum.
"That's one of the things why we have to ask her to leave. The bank refused to support the loan. She is said to have left her houses abused and everything and it worried the bank," she said.
She added the house was not suitable for the family and that the children needed more room.
"Fourteen kids need a bigger backyard for sure. I saw they had four bunk beds. I think those were for the little ones. And they had beds in all the other rooms," she said.
Single mum Nadya, who had her octuplets and previous six children by IVF, is said to have earned in excess of £200,000 last year from TV appearances and interviews, but was investigated for allegedly claiming £10,000 in benefits illegally.
Last year, she went into rehab for 'anxiety, exhaustion and stress' related issues.
