One Direction fans might be backing Louis Tomlinson, following his recent Twitter spat with Zayn Malik, but Harry Styles is reportedly less than impressed.
Louis’s tweets about Zayn’s pal, producer Naughty Boy, annoyed the former (sob) 1D star, and he swiftly hit back, labelling Louis’ comments “bitchy”.
Come on guys, can't you all just be friends?
According to The Sun, the whole debacle has left Hazza unimpressed, so much so that he’s now "giving Louis the cold shoulder".
“Harry is very aware of 1D’s reputation and doesn’t like getting into any public scrapes, especially with other members of the band,” a source tells the paper. “It’s fair to say his relationship with Louis has been strained for some time and the last couple of weeks hasn’t helped matters.”
Remember when they were just five lads, goofing about on stage and sharing their love for each other in documentaries? That feels like forever ago, doesn’t it?
Nevertheless, Harry, Louis, Liam Payne and Niall Horan are soldiering on, currently working on their fifth album.
Zayn, is it definitely too late for you to go back?
Despite talk of a rift, a band insider is reported as telling the Sun: “Harry and Louis are working together in the studio in Los Angeles on 1D’s next album. They’re fine.”
Oh to be a fly on the wall in that recording studio…
Since quitting 1D to be a “normal 22-year-old”, Zayn’s been job-hunting online and watching copious amounts of Netflix busy hanging out with Naughty Boy in the studio, after enjoying a sunshine break (travelling via private jet, obvs) with his fiancée Perrie Edwards.
Meanwhile, the band are continuing their tour as four-piece and, in June, they’ll perform their first UK concert without the Bradford-born star, when they take to the stage at the Capital Summertime Ball in London.
