In an ultimate battle of the teen idols, One Direction and Justin Bieber will be fighting it out for the Best Worldwide Act trophy at next week's MTV EMA Awards.
While One Direction have been named as the finalist representing Northern Europe in the category, Bieber will doing the same for North America.

After weeks of competition and millions of votes cast in the respective global regions, MTV today announced the 10 finalists who will now go head to head in the final voting round.

The winner will be announced at the 2013 MTV EMA Awards, where Miley Cyrus, Robin Thicke, Bruno Mars, Kings of Leon, Snoop Dogg, Afrojack, Imagine Dragons, Icona Pop, The Killers and Katy Perry are all set to perform.
The ceremony will be taking place this year in Amsterdam's Ziggo Dome, on Sunday 10 November at 9pm.
