One Direction have reportedly turned down an offer to appear on the X Factor, the show that made them famous.
The Sun reports Simon Cowell had hoped the boy band would boost dwindling audience figures by being mentors to the contestants.
The One Direction heartthrob, 18, is upgrading from a £575,000 flat in the East End to a plush four-bedroom house in North London, near celebrity hang-out Primrose Hill, the Daily Mirror said.
A source was quoted as saying: "A lot of Harry's friends live in Primrose Hill and Belsize Park, so he wanted to move closer to them. The new house is enormous compared to his old flat.
"It has four bedrooms and as many bathrooms, as well as a few huge, open-plan living areas. It's the perfect party pad."
The singer, worth an estimated £20million, is expected to throw a huge house-warming party, with the source saying: "The band are really going to let their hair down, Harry-style(s)."
