US fashion label Opening Ceremony has created a Spring/Summer 2014 collection dedicated to artist René Magritte as part of its year celebrating Belgium.

Surrealist paintings a la Magritte have been printed on classic Birkenstock styles to showcase what the brand calls "wearable art." So far, so stylish.

The only thing is, these Sheherazade Birkenstock Boston Clogs are kind of ugly, no? We're all for the concept and totally get the whole art/fashion vibe but it may take more to get us styling out the Birk, or forking out a cool £112 for a pair.

The Lovers Birkenstock Boston Clogs above are pretty weird too.

However, for those who like a sturdy flat shoe and a kooky print, these will be right up your street. Plus you can pre order a pair online now. You can also shop the tunics, jackets and dresses too.
