Bill Murray provided the Oscars' most moving moment, during his presentation of the Award for Best Cinematography.
Standing alongside Amy Adams, who had finished reading out the list of nominees, Bill slipped in a short but sweet tribute to his former collaborator, comedy favourite Harold Ramis, who died last Monday.
He simply added, "Oh, we forgot one. Harold Ramis, for 'Caddyshack,' 'Ghostbusters' and 'Groundhog Day.'"
Bill and Harold Ramis had worked together on those three films.
Ramis was also included in the In Memoriam part of the show, which highlighted names of other industry veterans who died this past year, including Esther Williams, producer Saul Zaentz and actor Philip Seymour Hoffman.
