When Benjamin Schock's teenage daughter posed for her homecoming dance with her boyfriend, the dad couldn't help but get involved to share the light-hearted reminder: "Whatever you do to my daughter. I will do to you."
Unsurprisingly, the photo has since gone viral and has been viewed more than three million times.
In the image, which was shared on Imgur, Schock's daughter Ricarra is pictured being held by her boyfriend and Homecoming date.
Then, in a separate photograph, the comical dad is pictured with his arms wrapped tightly around the young lad, beaming from ear-to-ear.
Ricarra's mother and photographer Sharee Schock told BuzzFeed: "My husband had mentioned previously in humour that he would do to the boyfriend whatever was done to our daughter.
"So he jumped in... and they posed for the picture."
As you can imagine, the whole family was left in hysterics.
Sharee added: "My husband is a big-hearted teddy bear, so it was his way of being silly with a pinch of ‘I’m watching you. buddy'."
