A court has heard how a paedophile posed as a close friend and 'personal magician' to David and Victoria Beckham in order to get close to children.
Ivan Russell, 42, has been jailed for six years after he was found guilty of carrying out disgusting attacks on children at holiday camps over an 18 year period.
The Sun reports that the monster once bumped into the Beckhams in a restaurant when he was living in Spain, and used the picture he had taken with them to impress youngsters.
He was finally brought to justice after his suspicious girlfriend Georgie Lamb, 44, went to the police after overhearing Russell talk about images of children he had on his laptop.
"The kids were like, 'Oh my God he knows the Beckhams'. They hero-worshipped Ivan because of it. He'd try to get me to pretend I was Victoria on the phone but I refused," Ms Lamb said.
Police discovered he had abused kids in Lancashire, Great Yarmouth and his home town of Daventry, before moving to Spain.
He was convicted at Northampton Crown Court for 12 counts of indecent assault, one of indecency with a child and four counts of sexual assault on a child.
