Karl Lagerfeld? So last season (apparently). Christian Louboutin celebrate 20 years in the industry at an exclusive cocktail party last night.

The Gossip Girl struck a pose alongside the French designer at the Barneys bash, wearing a teeny-tiny Dolce & Gabbana dress and pointed Louboutin Pigalle courts - before covering up in a long red leather Valentino coat at the end of the night.

Now, when you're promoting the work of the most famous shoe designer in the world, it's perhaps not ideal to openly reveal how much pain your feet are in - but that didn't seem to bother either designer or muse, as Christian helped carry Blake out of the party when it all got too much for her poor tootsies.

Protecting her modesty with her clutch bag, the actress was swept off her feet and carried down the road. Beats a cab, huh?
But then we know how Louboutin feels about women wearing uncomfortable heels (he says women are happy to put up with the pain) so we can't see this incident having a particularly damaging effect on his sales...
