The Paris Fashion Week schedule is all kinds of fabulous.
The Balmain, Givenchy, Chanel and Louis Vuitton shows are just a few to showcase key trends for the following season - think spectacular, breathtakingly beautiful clothes to die for.
But PFW wouldn't be the same without those "out there" outfits. The kind of ensembles no-one but Cara Delevingne or Gisele Bundchen can pull off. The looks that won't catch on.
After a week of shows in the French capital, here's our round up of the 10 most outrageous looks from the Spring/Summer 2015 runway.
1. Vivienne Westwood.
To be fair, this is how to put those old bed sheets to good use. The leafy hand-held (bags are out) might be tricky on the commute into work though.
2. Comme des Garçons.
This all-red-everything collection inspired by blood and roses? There are no words.
3. Yohji Yamamoto.
And the bride wore....
4. Issey Miyake.
Not one for the sun-worshippers. That roll-neck in a heat wave situation? Surely not.
5. Junya Watanabe.
Apparently part swim cap, part space helmet head gear is in next summer.
6. Balenciaga.
Creative director Alexander Wang may be the master of trend-setting fashion but this screams make-do Matrix style, no?
7. Rick Owens.
Famed for his spooky outside-the-box collections, this line up from Owens is spot on for Halloween.
We're definitely doing that bleached white parting thing too.
8. Jean-Charles de Castelbajac.
Think wet weather gear with holes in.On the plus side - check out all those zippy compartments.
9. Valentin Yudashkin.
Beautiful, yes. Practical pool-side attire? We're thinking not.
10. Sonia Rykiel.
If you can pull off a fur stole throw-on with a barely-there sheer maxi dress next summer, we salute you.
