The Christian DiorAutumn/Winter 2014 catwalk was all about bold, bright dresses, tailored double-breasted jacket and cigarette trouser combos, kick-out skirts and luxe layers. Imagine a fleet of models doing 1980s power dressing crossed with an opulence that's almost Elizabethan. Are you with us?
The Dior woman is a piece of art, she's contemporary and she's completely standout - and Raf Simons knows her every move.
Killer palettes of red, pink, green, yellow and blue sauntered down the runway across quilted/textured cocoon dresses, tunic tops, full-skirts, matchy two-piece suits and boxy handbags.
Down 'dos were slicked back and sharp, eye makeup was green and shimmery. Definition was everything about this catwalk - sharp, strong lines were seen throughout as were cut-out wedge heels and a whole lot of bare leg.
Fun, refreshing and all about the clashing - THIS is Autumn/Winter's look and we love it all.
