Kent Police have previously described the death as “unexplained and sudden” but added that it is currently being treated as suspicious.
Police are now continuing to investigate the death, and are waiting on the results of a toxicology report, which may take several weeks.
Since the news broke of Peaches’s tragic passing, a string of her celebrity friends have paid their respects to her on their Twitter pages, while her sister Fifi shared an emotional tribute on Instagram.
Before her death, the young mum wrote in her column for ‘Mother & Baby’ magazine that she felt she had a “perfect” family life, adding that having a family had made her “happier than ever”.
On the day before her death, she shared a childhood photo on Instagram of her mum Paula Yates, who died of a heroin overdose when Peaches was just 11-years-old.
Her father Bob Geldof also gave an emotional statement after the news of Peaches’s death had broken, saying: “Peaches has died. We are beyond pain. She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us. Writing 'was' destroys me afresh. What a beautiful child.”
“How is this possible that we will not see her again? How is that bearable? We loved her and will cherish her forever.”
