We live in a world where almost every decision we make is based upon a star rating. From restaurants to Uber, we make a choice based on what everyone else thinks.
The one thing we don't do this to is each other, however all that's about to change with Peeple, an app that will let everyone rate and review each other, whether you like it or not.
Created as a 'Yelp for humans', this terrifying app reportedly aims to boost positivity by letting people see what everyone else thinks of them. A great idea if the human race was simply made up of millions of Hugh Jackman's.
Sadly we're not all as nice as Hugh Jackman, which is going to be a massive problem when you learn that anyone can create a Peeple profile about you and there's absolutely nothing you can do about it.
Unsurprisingly, the reaction to Peeple has been.....well its been almost entirely negative.
This reaction is hardly surprising considering Facebook is so worried about negativity its taken years just to work out if it should have a 'dislike' button.
Peeple goes so much further, allowing the world to judge you publicly and removing you from having any control over it.
The founders insist that it isn't as scary as it sounds saying:
“As two empathetic, female entrepreneurs in the tech space, we want to spread love and positivity, we want to operate with thoughtfulness.” said founder Julia Cordray.

To try and combat the negative press the founders have made it clear that there will be a strict process involved. Every account must be linked to Facebook and use a real name.
Positive reviews will be posted immediately while negative ones will be sent to an inbox for 48 hours allowing the recipient of the review to contest it.
If you want to review a person that doesn't have a profile you must have their phone number (which seems like an oddly convenient way of handing over a person's number).
Whether or not these extra precautions will make any difference will become clear when the app launches in November.
