Peter Andre and his team go to huge efforts to maintain his saintly image and paint him as the perfect dad. So, it's no surprise that he has done an interview on life with his kids and, yet again, managed to mention the pain he's experienced as a result of the split from ex-wife Katie Price, who he divorced more than two years ago. Yes, more than two years!
In a chat with OK! magazine about Christmas with the kids, Peter, star of Peter Andre: Here To Help, gushed: "I've got all three children on Christmas day, which is brilliant.
"I've ordered a 20kg turkey and I'll be doing all the trimmings. I've got about 20 people coming, so I definitely won't be lonely."
Pete quickly changed the subject to talk about his marriage to Page Three superstar Katie Price, saying that they are now on good terms.
He said: "Yes, I'm trying to build bridges because it's the right thing - it's better to be amicable for the children's sake and for each other. I have no hard feelings and that's the biggest sign of moving on.
"I love her as the mother of my kids, but just because we're building bridges to try and be friends, that's it for me. I've moved on in my heart, but it's my head that hasn't.
"She's always there because of the kids and all the involvement. That isn't being nasty. I want Kate to be happy and I want us to be friends for our kids sakes."
On finding future love, he said: "I know eventually I'll have that happiness again, but in a whole different way. I want to have kids, I want it all and I'm sure it won't be long before I'm in a relationship. It's just going to take time."
The Mysterious Girl singer still refuses to reveal the real reason behind the breakdown of his marriage, saying: "I hope I never have to. I've made it perfectly clear that I don't need to and I don't see why I have to. Everyone has moved on."
Are you sure everyone has moved on Pete?
