Peter Andre has maintained a dignified silence throughout all the dramas, Twitter rants and hissy fits of his ex-wife Katie Price's relationships rollercoaster.
It can't have been easy to watch his ex washing all her dirty smalls in public, especially during the times he's spent with their two children, Junior, nine, and seven-year-old Princess, along with his baby daughter Amelia by fiancée Emily MacDonagh.
But even a chap as laid back as the 41-year-old pop star has his limits – and it seems he's reached his breaking point.
According to Closer magazine, Pete is 'livid' about the effect all of Katie's dramas are having on their kids and wants them to be 'protected at all costs'.
A source said: "He's livid at the thought of the kids getting caught up in all the chaos and is saying they need to be protected from it at all costs.
"He hates the idea of his children being exposed to such adult situations and is determined to make his concerns clear to her."
'What dramas?' I hear you ask. Have you been living in a cave?
Well, there was the not insignifcant matter of Katie's most recent husband, Kieran Hayler, tonking anything with a pulse behind Katie's back, most publicly the glamour model's (now ex) pals Jane Pountney and Chrissy Thomas.
This led to the will-she-won't-she-take-him-back soap opera leading up to the birth last month of baby 'Runner Bean' (working title) which led to Katie's forgiveness and a reunion in the birthing suite.
After that, you might have thought, that was that, sleeping dogs left to lie etc, etc. And as far as Kieran is concerned, it would appear that is the case.
Writing in this week's Now magazine, Katie – also mum to Kieran's baby Jett Riviera, and Harvey, by footballer Dwight York - said she has no interest in putting her husband of eight months through the wringer.
She wrote: "A lot of people have passed comment on my decision to stay with Kieran and work on our marriage after he cheated on me with two friends.
"Of course people are entitled to their own opinion and I know why people might think I'm a fool for staying. But no one really knows what goes on behind closed doors.
"And there are obviously good reasons for me to stay with Kieran. I love him. But believe me, he hasn't had it easy."
She said that while she will never forget what Kieran did to her, she wants trust to be a dominating factor in their union going forward.
She wrote: "I can be the most devious person in the world but I'm not interested in revenge. Two wrongs do not make a right.
"There's always the threat of a lie detector but Kieran's not worried because he has nothing to lie about. I don't want to rely on a lie detector - I want to build up the trust and have a strong marriage."
But although Katie has apparently forgiven her cheating plasterer, she has certainly not forgotten the friends who wronged her and last week she went on another Twitter rant saying she'll be making more revelations about 'home wrecker' Jane in her new book.
Her tirade came after she stumbled upon a card Jane had given her while she was secretly sleeping with her man behind her back.
She raged to her 1.9 million followers on the social media site:
Then followed this up with:
Another day, another drama. You can almost hear the thwack of Pete's palm slapping his forehead.
