Peter Andre has revealed he feared for his life when he was the victim of a racist attack back in the 1990s.
The ‘Mysterious Girl’ singer, who is of Greek Cypriot descent, said that he and a friend were held at knife-point when a night out in his home country of Australia took a dark turn.
Opening up in the new issue of OK! magazine, Peter recalled: “We were grabbed and a knife was held to my throat in the bathroom. I was petrified.
Although he was raised in Australia, Peter later relocated to the UK as he began to taste success as a pop singer, where he now lives with his wife, junior doctor Emily MacDonagh, who is currently pregnant with their second child.
Peter also has a son and a daughter with ex-wife, Katie Price.
He and Emily, who tied the knot last year, recently shelled out for a mansion in Sussex, which was once owned by Hollywood star Tom Cruise.
The ‘Top Gun’ actor originally bought the property, which is conveniently located near the UK’s Church of Scientology headquarters – Saint Hill Manor, in 2003 for £3 million.
