The Pokemon game that took Britain by storm has been released in its home nation of Japan, and it didn’t take long before eagle-eyed players there noticed something strange.
Flipping on the augmented reality option on their Pokemon Go games, a few Japanese pet owners have noticed that their furry friends appear to be able to see the imaginary creatures that pop up on their screens.
It may sound ridiculous, but more and more players are sharing proof online, with pictures of dogs staring at Digletts and cats bemused by Caterpies.
If you’ve got any images that appear to show animals interacting with Pokemon in the game, make sure you tweet them to us at @HuffPostUKCom.
