Philippe Coutinho is a Liverpool player in all but writing after a picture emerged of him posing with a signed Reds shirt.
The Brazilian is expected to complete his £8.5m transfer from Internazionale today and could make his Reds debut at Manchester City on Sunday.
Coutinho, 20, was yesterday pictured at the club's Melwood training ground as he underwent a medical.
Inter president Massimo Moratti has said Coutinho can capitalise on a "great opportunity" at Anfield.
Moratti told the club's website: "There are opportunities there to be seized. Sometimes certain players need the chance to play more.
"And that's why I think this could be a great opportunity for a Coutinho, and a deal that could go very well for us too."
