With its stunningly symmetrical volcanic cone, Japan’s Mount Fuji may just be the most recognized mountain in the world, but on Wednesday, three Red Bull Air Race pilots – Nigel Lamb of Great Britain, Martin Šonka of the Czech Republic and home hero Yoshihide “Yoshi” Muroya – got a breathtakingly fresh perspective of the iconic peak. Ahead of the second-ever Red Bull Air Race World Championship stop in Chiba this weekend, Muroya led his peers on a reconnaissance flight to take in the iconic snow-capped summit from their raceplanes.

Aaron Ryder, 20, a hotel worker, of Fleetwood, Lancashire, was the first person to use the service and order a pizza on his 46 minute bus ride to work Dominos trials delivering pizza to bus stops, Lancashire, Britain - Hungry commuters can now order a pizza as they travel on the bus and have their delivery waiting for them as they pull into their chosen stop. Domino's has announced today it will start delivering to bus stops so people can dine out while they're on the move. It follows the chain's recent delivery to a passenger on board a train and Domino's is now trialling the service on the Catch 22 bus route from Mereside to Cleveleys near Blackpool, Lancs. Customers can order by phone from the menu while on board the bus and have their pizza waiting for them as they pull into their bus stop. David Woods, Domino's Blackpool operations director, said: "We love a challenge at Domino's and after successfully delivering pizza to a train we wanted to go one step further and offer people pizza to a bus.

Carrie Fisher (accompanied by her canine companion, Gary) visited Madame Tussauds London’s epic Star Wars experience today where she came face-to-face with a figure of her iconic film character, Princess Leia. Carrie’s likeness features in a scene recreating Jabba’s Throne Room, with the gargantuan gangster himself and his sadistic court jester, Salacious B. Crumb. Fans can see this scene at the world famous attraction alongside 11 others depicting the most powerful moments from the Star Wars universe.

British astronaut Tim Peake has been talking about his return to Earth and says the first meal he'd like to eat is pizza. Not one to deny the wishes of the first British astronaut on the International Space Station, Papa John's have created a pizza with Tim's face on it to welcome him back to earth. The pizzaâ's ingredients include pepperoni, cheese and, as a special addition, extra rocket! The take-out and pizza delivery restaurant chain will deliver a pizza of Peakeâs choice when he returns back to Earth on the 18th June.

Just days before the Euro 2016 football tournament kicks off in Paris, 250 international Youth Ambassadors for The ONE Campaign recreated a giant football pitch - the business centre of the French capital - to urge world leaders to level the playing field for girls and women in developing countries. Representing 50 nationalities, the ambassadors recreated a giant football pitch on synthetic turf measuring 700sqm to highlight their game plan of empowering women and girls to help break the cycle of poverty. They unfurled a huge banner in the centre-spot, emblazoned with the message âPoverty is Sexist. Level the playing field for women and girls in sight of representatives from the world's richest countries meeting at the OECD Forum.
