All the naysayers totally doubted Pip's ability to even rustle up some cheese on toast, but we've checked out the recipe and it seems pretty legit - even if it is borrowed from Waitrose.
"There's something sweet and snug about a Bakewell," Pippa wrote. "This delicious recipe from Waitrose uses Morello Cherry conserve instead of traditional jam and ready-bought pastry.
"Cut into healthy squares for teatime or serve warm with thick custard. It's a winter winner."
Although Bakewell isn't our favourite - we're after something with chocolate! - P-Middy's suggestion to serve, "warm, with thick custard, as a pudding or cold with a mug of tea or coffee," has us licking our lips. Get the kettle on.
