Three years after Pippa Middleton was bridesmaid to her sister Kate at the Royal Wedding, there's one particular topic that still gets attention - Pippa's bum.
Months after Pippa admitted her Alexander McQueen dress "fitted a little too well," she has been accused of wearing a "false bottom" to walk down the aisle. True story.
French etiquette expert Stephane Bern made the claim on his talk show on the France 2 channel.
"Of course she had a false bottom," Bern said. "I repeat it: she had a false bottom. You take her away from that and she has normal buttocks."
He added, "It was an optical illusion; she knew there were a billion people watching. It was the moment to show it."
Ouch. Sounds like Bern isn't a believer in the rigorous exercise regimes Pippa favours for keeping her derriere pert.
The expert picked the wrong time to make his 'false' accusation too.The Mirror reports the comments were made while Pippa was in France to visit the Medoc wine vineyards in Bordeaux. Not exactly a warm welcome for the near-royal.
Still, at least Pippa can see the funny side when it comes to dealing with the hype around her derriere.
"As I have found out, recognition has its upside, its downside and - you may say - its backside," she said during a speech at a dinner in February.
