Pluto, the plucky celestial body that has been whizzing around our solar system, could soon be classified as a planet once again.
The former-planet was booted from the elite club after the International Astronomical Union unveiled its official classification requirements for a planet. Pluto sadly didn't hit all of them and so was promptly demoted to a dwarf planet.
Now unsurprisingly this didn't sit well with some people, but since 2006 -- when the decision was made -- nothing has changed, for Pluto at least.
Well now the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics is back on the case and wants to settle the matter once and for all.
The centre held a debate on the subject using three key experts in the field. Astrobiology Magazine reported on the event which found two of the three experts arguing that Pluto IS in fact a planet.
You can see the entire debate below. Now to convince the IAU.
