This is cycling of the future - and you saw it first in Poland.
The nifty bike lane lights up at night and it’s being tested in Lidzbark Warminski, a town in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship in northern Poland.
The path uses luminophores – chemicals which “ingest” light, and keep the lane lit when its dark.
Engineering firm TPA, which specialises in futuristic technology, chose the startling blue to fit in with the surroundings - Masuria contains more than 2,000 lakes.
